This was the most fashionable event of the year: Monday Night 2011 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York. And the gala this year honored the end of the designer Alexander McQueen with an exhibition devoted to its design.
Some of the biggest Hollywood Fashionistas rocked the red carpet, including Beyonce design Pucci, Renee Zellweger in Carolina Herrera, Rihanna in skintight black Stella McCartney number, that Stella McCartney, Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker (designer of the late former muse) in form fitting Alexander McQueen, Demi Moore in Prabal Gurung, Jennifer Lopez red dress Gucci and Kate Hudson in Stella McCartney.
