Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw is recovering after an attack on a group of people on the streets.
Police said DeGraw broke his nose and cut on his face after he was beaten by "unknown assailants men" early Sunday morning in the East Village. Investigation is continuing.
The statement distributed by his press secretary said Monday night he was taken to Bellevue Hospital in an ambulance and remains in hospital under supervision.
"Gavin DeGraw is now recovering and in stable condition in hospital, Bellevue, where he was received late on Sunday in an ambulance after he was attacked by a group attack. He is suffering from a concussion, broken nose, black eyes, cuts and bruising . Police are investigating the attack, "his spokesman said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Tuesday. "Gavin and his family thank all concerned at this time."
